AI models / QUESTION GUIDE
Is an AI model headshot enough for a product demonstration?
A headshot helps choose visible identity; it does not establish a hand pose, grip, full-body proportion or product operation. Use separate product and interaction evidence for the planned demonstration. Do not interpret a model selection card as proof that the person can perform the action accurately.
Name the purpose of the model selection
Decide whether the person supplies atmosphere, scale context or an actual demonstration. For atmosphere, a headshot may be enough to choose the intended face. For a grip or fastening action, you also need the product’s real operation and a clear interaction reference.
For an illustrative travel bottle, the headshot establishes the selected visual identity but does not show how the cap opens. Keep the person choice and the mechanism evidence as separate entries in your own brief.
In a fictional travel-bottle brief, an authorized headshot H1 supplies appearance cues, product photo P1 shows the cap/control, and actual interaction reference O1 documents the intended opening step. Suppose the owner’s verified record for that exact bottle calls for pressing a latch before lifting the cap. A candidate showing a twisting action fails this example’s operation check even if the face matches H1. This is a hypothetical comparison, not operating advice for an unidentified bottle; obtain its actual instructions and safe demonstration before describing the mechanism.
Allocate reference responsibilities
| Reference | Establishes | Does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Headshot | Selected visible face | Hand anatomy or grip |
| Garment/product photo | Merchandise construction | Person’s identity |
| Actual interaction | Documented operation | Universal ability or fit |
| Full pose source | Desired presentation | Measured body dimensions |
Use authorized sources and avoid treating an image as evidence about a real person’s abilities or private characteristics. For fictional models, review generated behavior as a candidate rather than a factual personal claim.
A front or full-body image can offer more appearance context than a headshot, but neither establishes hidden controls, contact force or measured human dimensions. Add only authorized evidence relevant to the intended interaction; an external review record is not proof that every workbench has a dedicated pose-reference upload. If O1 is missing, keep the candidate to a non-operational presentation such as the documented closed bottle, or obtain the missing demonstration. Do not fill the gap by making the face reference more detailed.
Choose official or your own model deliberately
In AI models or the workbench’s model selector, choose an official model or an authorized saved reference. Keep the product evidence independent. Review whether the generated scene follows the selected identity and whether the hands preserve the real interaction.
A saved reference guides appearance but does not guarantee identity consistency or correct movement. If the task requires precise operation, use a real demonstration or a simpler product-only scene instead.
The current CartVisual model library can show newly generated models as full-body front previews; authorized uploaded and older references can retain their existing formats. A headshot is therefore one possible source, not the format of every current model card. Select and save the intended adult reference, then use the product/image workbench appropriate to the task. Appearance guidance and the inspected output remain separate. Botika separates garment, talent and scene decisions; its model gallery and pose bank do not describe CartVisual’s controls.
For the current TVC path, model and product references guide planning and storyboard images, while each video shot starts from its own reviewed scene frame. Choosing a model does not send a headshot and a product operation sequence as independent direct video inputs. Review the actual image or scene frame before any motion request; this article has submitted no model or generation request.
Approve the interaction separately
Compare the generated grip, contact and product state with the actual evidence. A good face match cannot compensate for fingers covering the control or a wrong opening action. Record identity approval and operation approval as separate decisions.
Use reference roles for the full brief and hand interaction review for motion. The deliverable is a role-based reference set, not a promise attached to a face thumbnail.
Record two decisions for the H1/P1/O1 exercise: appearance continuity versus operation/contact. Check which hand touches the actual control, whether fingers cover the latch and whether cap/body geometry stays consistent with P1. When motion is involved, review the complete clip against the documented action; a correct first frame cannot approve the later opening. If the task is an operational instruction, prefer a verified real demonstration whenever the generated action cannot be established. Use model-source selection for appearance provenance; that choice does not certify the interaction or create a real person’s endorsement.

Frequently asked questions
Does a model card establish full-body fit?
No. It is a selection reference, not a measurement.
Can a perfect face match offset a wrong grip?
No. Review the interaction independently.
What if I lack operation evidence?
Obtain the actual product instructions and a suitable real demonstration, or use a non-operational presentation of a documented state. A fuller model reference cannot establish missing product-operation evidence.
