AI models / QUESTION GUIDE

How do you stop a model’s reference outfit from becoming part of the product ad?

State which clothing belongs to the model reference and which item is actually for sale. A saved person image may carry a jacket, necklace or bag that should not migrate into the new campaign. Keep identity guidance separate from merchandise evidence and inspect unwanted reference-outfit carryover in the generated scene.

01 / HOW DO YOU STOP A MODEL’S REFERENCE OUTFIT FROM BECOMING PART OF THE PRODUCT AD?

Inventory the reference outfit

Look at the saved model image and name visible garments and accessories. Decide which are irrelevant to the new scene. A reference necklace may be mistaken for a supplied accessory, while a jacket may conceal the shirt you are selling. Do not assume the system will use only the face.

For an illustrative T-shirt campaign, the selected model’s source portrait may show a blazer. The new merchandise source establishes the T-shirt. Write that the blazer is not part of the requested outfit rather than changing the product brief to accommodate it.

02 / HOW DO YOU STOP A MODEL’S REFERENCE OUTFIT FROM BECOMING PART OF THE PRODUCT AD?

Create a role map

Source elementIntended roleReview
Face referenceVisual identityCompare appearance
Source blazerNo merchandise roleExclude from new outfit
Actual T-shirt photoProduct constructionPreserve print and hem
New styling accessoryOptional contextAvoid inclusion implication

The map is useful even when the person is entirely fictional. It clarifies what the buyer should infer from the image and what the generator is being asked to change.

03 / HOW DO YOU STOP A MODEL’S REFERENCE OUTFIT FROM BECOMING PART OF THE PRODUCT AD?

Generate from the garment evidence

In Virtual try-on, select the official or saved model and upload the actual garment. Describe the intended outfit and exclusions. Review whether source clothing remains visible, whether the sold item is hidden and whether accessories imply a bundle.

A selected model reference does not guarantee outfit separation. The selected reference is guidance, not proof that only one part of it affected the result. If carryover remains, choose a simpler reference or a product-only view where appropriate.

04 / HOW DO YOU STOP A MODEL’S REFERENCE OUTFIT FROM BECOMING PART OF THE PRODUCT AD?

Check the ad’s merchandise promise

Read the image with its title and contents explanation. A viewer should identify the sold garment without relying on internal role notes. Keep styling accessories clearly secondary and do not use the reference outfit as evidence about the new garment’s fit.

Use identity/outfit roles for the brief and outfit separation for multi-item scenes. Save the role map with the selected model and garment revision.

Fictional campaign record: M2 is the selected adult synthetic model reference, shown in a gray blazer with a necklace. G7 is the actual T-shirt source; its print and hem define the item for sale. The offer includes that T-shirt only. The gray blazer and necklace have no merchandise role.

A bounded teaching brief is: “Use the approved M2 appearance with the G7 T-shirt. Do not carry over the source blazer or necklace. Keep the shirt’s actual print and hem visible.” It is not an executed request or a guarantee. If the result still shows the wrong outfit, do not redefine the offer to match it. Keep the chosen model, source garment revision and final review together.
