A+ product pages / QUESTION GUIDE

How do you explain product compatibility without a misleading lifestyle image?

Start with the exact device name and revision. Then check each required condition in the real product record. A familiar device in a scene does not prove that it fits. Give the buyer three clear paths: matches the stated rule, does not match, or needs more information.

01 / HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY WITHOUT A MISLEADING LIFESTYLE IMAGE?

Write the fit rule from the source

Ask the product owner which models and revisions the item supports. Record the required mount or port, all other fit conditions, and any excluded versions. Keep a link to the actual source for each rule. Do not build this list from an AI scene or a similar-looking product.

A model family can contain more than one version. A matching plug shape may also leave other conditions unresolved. When a source only confirms one fact, keep that fact in its own scope. It does not approve the whole pairing.

Use connection evidence when the diagram itself needs a source. The task here is to turn a supported rule into a clear buyer choice.

02 / HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY WITHOUT A MISLEADING LIFESTYLE IMAGE?

Separate yes, no and unknown

Fictional stand example: its invented record lists Panel-P2 revision B. It specifies a 100 × 100 mm hole pattern and a 6 kg maximum under all its stated conditions. Revision A is excluded. The millimetres refer to horizontal and vertical hole-center distances. These teaching values are not real product specifications, VESA certification or mounting advice.

Model or revision cannot be readUnknownGet the missing record before choosing a fit claim

Ask for the exact model and revision first. If the rule excludes it, stop that branch. If the identifier is missing, ask for the missing evidence. Only then check the remaining required facts. A 4 kg weight alone does not prove a fit, nor does the hole spacing alone. All of the real rule’s conditions must be resolved.

03 / HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY WITHOUT A MISLEADING LIFESTYLE IMAGE?

Keep the image within the rule

Use an authorized view of the same item and edition. Show the relevant mount or port clearly. Do not add a well-known device or logo just to suggest a fit or endorsement. A styled image can help identify the product; it cannot check the model list.

Place the fit rule in readable destination text or a precise layout. Keep known exclusions close to the image. Check the final picture against the source, including the part that makes the pairing work. A rendered connector is not a physical fit test.

Amazon’s design guide discusses answering buyer questions about use and compatibility. That supports the question-led format. It does not certify the fictional stand or any real pairing.

04 / HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY WITHOUT A MISLEADING LIFESTYLE IMAGE?

Check the path for a buyer who is unsure

Ask a reviewer to follow the unknown branch without your help. They should find what fact is missing and what source or support route can resolve it. If a scene seems to promise a universal fit, change the scene or put the limit where it will be read.

Use product-choice planning for a broader choice among models. Save the exact rule, source version and approved layout together. When the rule changes, check the text and image again.

No stand was installed, buyer test run or fit database queried for this exercise. It is a way to present known rules and stop when the evidence runs out.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Frequently asked questions

Does a familiar device in an image prove a fit?

No. Check its exact model and revision against the real product rule.

Does matching hole spacing prove the whole fit?

No. Resolve every other required condition too. The dimensions in this guide are fictional.

What should happen when the revision is unknown?

Stop the yes branch. Get the missing identifier or ask the product owner for evidence.
