Product images / QUESTION GUIDE
How should AI plant imagery represent the plant a buyer will receive?
Use dated photographs and the actual stock description to establish what ships. Keep plant measurement basis, supplied container and growth stage separate. A generated mature display cannot replace that evidence or promise how the buyer’s plant will grow.
Define the shipping stage from current stock
Record whether the buyer receives one identified specimen or stock within an approved representative range. Keep current photographs, the stock batch/date and the seller’s actual stage description together. Obtain species identity and any botanical claims from the responsible qualified source, not the generated leaf shape.
State how a size was measured: above the growing medium, including the container, or another explicitly defined basis. Record the supplied pot separately. A large decorative outer pot must not silently become part of the order or its plant-height measurement.
Reject the mature display as the shipment image
Fictional stock record N12 says a starter plant is 10–15 cm above the growing medium in a 9 cm nursery pot. A proposed scene instead shows a 45 cm trellised plant in a 20 cm decorative outer pot. These invented figures are not measurements, pot recommendations or growth forecasts.
| Element | Approved scope in the example | Mismatch to resolve |
|---|---|---|
| Plant size | 10–15 cm above the medium | 45 cm display is not current shipping stock |
| Nursery pot | 9 cm supplied pot | Decorative outer pot is not thereby included |
| Trellis | Not listed as included | Do not introduce it as supplied support |
| Mature view | Only a separate permitted illustrative role | Not a promise of eventual size, flowering or time to maturity |
Do not fix this with a small “plant may vary” caption while the main buying image still depicts a different stage. Choose a current-stock photo or change the scene to the actual documented subject. Any future/styling illustration needs its own clear role and destination eligibility.
Do not improve the living product in the background edit
Keep the specimen’s shape and supplied container visible. Check added flowers, extra stems, unusually dense foliage or a hidden small nursery pot against the source. Decorative plants overlapping it can make the product boundary impossible to inspect.
Ask the stock owner about meaningful condition differences such as damaged or discolored leaves; do not classify them as harmless natural variation or remove them because they look untidy. If the reference no longer represents current stock, obtain a new photo instead of generating a more saleable specimen.
Check what the buyer expects to unpack
Review the actual title, stock range, container inclusion and first image together at phone size. Ask a reviewer to identify the shipping stage and included pot from that presentation, then compare the answer with the stock record. Resolve the misleading element rather than treating a label as proof of comprehension.
Keep a review date and recheck when stock changes; the interval should follow the actual inventory, not a made-up universal cadence. Use reference preparation and image replacement planning for adjacent work. No plant was measured, identified, grown or tested, and no botanical or delivery guarantee is made by CartVisual.

Frequently asked questions
Can a mature image stand for the starter plant being shipped?
Do not let it replace current-stock evidence. Any permitted illustrative mature view must be separate and must not promise the buyer a particular growth outcome.
Does a plausible generated leaf shape identify the species?
No. Use qualified stock and botanical information.
Can a generic variation note cover a different pot or growth stage?
It does not resolve a materially different representation. Match the actual shipped stock and included container.
