DELIVERY TROUBLESHOOTING / Product videos
Why did my five-second ad export include the rest of the editing timeline?
Inspect the export source and selected range. A marked section, an active sequence and an export range are related but distinct states. Confirm the displayed duration in Export rather than assuming the timeline selection controls it.
Work through the cause
- Activate the intended sequence and mark the desired beginning and ending. Check that no review material belongs inside that range.
- Open Export and inspect its source-range choice and displayed duration. Scrub the first and last preview frames.
- Export to a new filename, then inspect the actual delivered file outside the editor. Confirm duration before uploading.
A concrete case (illustrative)
Illustrative case: a timeline contains three ad versions separated by gaps. The merchant intends to export only the middle version, but the entire sequence range is selected. Correcting the range avoids exporting drafts and empty spaces.
Acceptance and next action
Pass when the file starts and ends on the approved frames and contains only the intended version. A short preview render does not prove the final export range. Record the sequence name and range beside the delivery filename.
