A+ product pages / PRODUCTION GUIDE

What still needs to happen after you download an A+ image?

Downloading an A+ image completes an asset task, not an Amazon publication. Someone still needs to confirm account eligibility, select supported modules, enter approved text, apply the right ASINs and submit the content. Track those steps separately so a finished image is not mistaken for an approved product page that shoppers can actually see.

01 / WHAT STILL NEEDS TO HAPPEN AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD AN A+ IMAGE?

Identify the destination account and owner

Name the person who will publish and the Amazon account they will use. Check the actual available A+ tools and permissions before preparing a layout around a feature the account cannot access. Do not infer eligibility from owning an image, having an CartVisual account, or previously seeing another seller’s Premium content.

Amazon’s A+ overview describes account and role requirements and distinguishes content types. Verify your own account against its current workflow. Generating this visual does not enroll a brand or grant Amazon publishing permissions; verify those in the destination account. Keep the creative owner and the destination account owner explicit in the handoff.

02 / WHAT STILL NEEDS TO HAPPEN AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD AN A+ IMAGE?

Package assets for supported destination modules

Inspect the module choices currently available to the publisher. A complete raster concept may help approve sequence but need restructuring into individual images and separate text. Match each asset to a chosen destination module, preserving the correct product edition and buyer question. Do not slice a long picture blindly through headings or measurement arrows.

Use the visual deliverable guide for the production choice. For publishing, include the approved heading, body copy and alternate description outside the image. Exact wording should not depend on someone reading and retranscribing generated letters. Resolve any unsupported specification before it enters the upload package.

03 / WHAT STILL NEEDS TO HAPPEN AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD AN A+ IMAGE?

Make a publication handoff manifest

Build one external row per destination module and a separate list of intended ASINs. The hypothetical manifest below shows responsibilities, not an automatic CartVisual export. Keep account identifiers in your own authorized working record rather than public example files. Use the actual destination preview to confirm the sequence before submission.

Distinguish an asset approval from a submission receipt and from a live-page check.

Fictional release R8 contains image package I3 and approved copy C4 for two placeholder products, Mug-A and Mug-B, in the chosen language English. These are internal labels, not valid ASINs. The authorized catalog owner must replace them with the exact eligible ASINs in a private working record and check each product’s dimensions, contents and variant-specific claims before application. Keep a row for each intended product/language destination; a common package version is not proof that every destination has published it.

04 / WHAT STILL NEEDS TO HAPPEN AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD AN A+ IMAGE?

Apply the right products and inspect the review state

Confirm that the selected ASINs describe the products shown in the module package. A family-level explanation can still contain a size or accessory that belongs to only one variant. Review those differences with the catalog owner before applying content broadly. Product-specific facts need the same care as the image itself.

Amazon’s documented sequence includes applying ASINs and Review & submit, with status available in A+ Content Manager. Perform those steps through Amazon and record the actual result. This article does not establish a fixed review time, guarantee approval or treat a successful upload as evidence that the content is visible.

For R8, let I3/C4 be creatively approved while the publisher has only saved an Amazon draft. Record “asset approved; destination draft; not submitted,” rather than “published.” If a real submission is later reported approved for Mug-A/English but Mug-B is unresolved, close only the checked Mug-A/English row after inspecting that actual page. Do not infer another ASIN or language from the shared artwork. A changed size claim needed only for Mug-B may require a separate package; do not repair it by applying the unsuitable common image more widely.

05 / WHAT STILL NEEDS TO HAPPEN AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD AN A+ IMAGE?

Close the handoff on the actual product page

After the destination reports approval, inspect the respective page and chosen language. Confirm that the correct product, images, text and order appear. Check a narrow display as well as a wider one, and identify whether any important content was cropped or omitted. Save the actual status and presentation check with the versioned manifest.

If the content is still pending or needs a correction, retain that state explicitly and assign the next action to the publisher. Use the cross-SKU guide when one package serves several items. The finished result is a verified publishing handoff with actual destination evidence; a folder full of polished downloaded concepts is only one input to it.

If the Manager status and chosen product page disagree, retain both observations with their actual check times and ask the authorized publisher to investigate the exact account, ASIN, language and content version. Do not relabel an absent page as verified live, and do not invent a fixed wait time. If validation requests a correction, keep the rejected version separate, fix the specific asset/copy/mapping issue and repeat the relevant preview and submission checks. This article provides an external handoff method; R8 has not been created, submitted or approved in any Amazon account.
