Virtual try-on / QUESTION GUIDE

How do you show a garment with detachable parts accurately?

List the detachable parts supplied and show only physically documented attached or detached states. A model image without the hood does not prove that the hood is removable, and a loose belt in a scene does not prove it is included. Connect each state to real construction evidence and the exact order contents.

01 / HOW DO YOU SHOW A GARMENT WITH DETACHABLE PARTS ACCURATELY?

Inventory the supplied components

Use the product owner’s contents record and actual garment photographs. Identify the removable hood, belt, liner or panel and its attachment. Distinguish optional accessories from parts supplied with this SKU. A matching color does not establish that two pieces belong to the same product.

For an illustrative coat, the hood may attach with concealed fasteners. Obtain a real detached view if removal matters. Do not ask the generator to create a new collar shape when the hood is absent.

02 / HOW DO YOU SHOW A GARMENT WITH DETACHABLE PARTS ACCURATELY?

Create a state map

StateEvidencePublishing explanation
AttachedActual complete garmentIdentify supplied configuration
DetachedReal removed-part viewExplain what is removable
Attachment detailActual hardwareNo invented mechanism
Optional accessorySeparate inventory recordNot implied to be included

The map should name the product revision. A previous season’s removable liner should not be shown with a newer garment that no longer includes it.

Fictional contents record C8 supplies one coat body and one detachable hood; a matching belt B2 is optional and not included. Record C8 with hood attached, the same C8 with hood detached, and a real attachment detail as three views of one order, not three different bundles. If the detached display places the hood beside the coat, count it once; do not show another attached hood on that same coat and imply a spare. The component labels are internal exercise references, not a claim that every part has its own retail SKU.

Keep each state tied to the same revision. If the only detached photograph is from C7 with a different neckline, obtain the C8 view instead of erasing a hood in software and inventing the exposed edge. B2’s matching color is not inclusion evidence. Its separate source/offer record must remain distinct from C8’s supplied hood.

03 / HOW DO YOU SHOW A GARMENT WITH DETACHABLE PARTS ACCURATELY?

Request one documented state

In Virtual try-on, supply the garment references and describe the intended attached or detached state. Review whether the candidate invents a different neckline or leaves a floating attachment. Keep a normal complete view available for identification.

If the detachable construction is the reason to buy, add real detail photographs rather than depending on a generated sequence. CartVisual does not test removability or assemble a mechanically verified transformation between states.

For the requested hood-off state, compare the neckline, remaining fasteners and loose hood with the actual C8 references. Reject a floating fastener, invented collar or spare hood that appears in the candidate. If the hardware is hidden, use a real attachment close-up; an attractive transition sequence would not test detachability. Botika recommends inspecting the garment against the source, but its general advice does not confirm C8’s mechanism or supply a mechanically verified CartVisual transformation.

04 / HOW DO YOU SHOW A GARMENT WITH DETACHABLE PARTS ACCURATELY?

Reconcile the styled set with the order

Read the image sequence and inclusion text together. A detached part should remain identifiable without making the scene look like a different bundle. Ask the product owner to approve both the count and the mechanism explanation.

Use layered imagery for clothing relationships and contents review for the order promise. Keep the state map with the asset so another editor does not remove a supplied part merely for a cleaner look.

Read the lead image and contents text together. A caption draft for this fictional record is “C8 coat with supplied detachable hood, shown detached; belt B2 sold separately.” Replace it with the actual approved offer wording. If the optional belt still dominates the image or makes it look like a supplied set, remove it or use a separate image; a small exclusion note is not an automatic cure. Preserve a normal complete-garment view and the documented attachment state with the component count. No coat has been detached, photographed or generated for this article.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Frequently asked questions

Does an absent hood prove it is detachable?

No. Use actual construction evidence.

Can optional pieces appear in the scene?

Distinguish optional pieces from supplied components in both the image and offer. If the overall presentation still suggests an included bundle, remove the optional piece or use a separate image rather than relying only on a small note.

Can AI verify the removal mechanism?

No. Use actual product and attachment references.
