DELIVERY TROUBLESHOOTING / Assets & tasks
After rewriting my product description, how do I know which translations need review?
Treat a source-language edit as a possible translation change, especially when facts, exclusions or offer terms change. Review current translation status and the rendered target language; do not assume every account has identical automatic update behavior.
Work through the cause
- Record the changed source passages and identify affected languages and markets. Separate wording polish from factual changes.
- Inspect the corresponding translated resources and any outdated-content indicators in your current translation workflow. Review automatic results rather than approving them unseen.
- Open each affected language’s public product page and check the changed facts, links and layout. Keep the reviewed source revision with the translation.
A concrete case (illustrative)
Illustrative case: a description changes from includes two inserts to includes one insert. A fluent older translation can remain commercially wrong even though its spelling and formatting are perfect.
Acceptance and next action
Pass when the changed fact agrees across the intended language versions. Translation tools and eligibility can change, so use the current account workflow rather than a universal scheduling promise. CartVisual does not synchronize a Shopify store automatically.
