Where should product-video text go when platform controls cover the frame?

Reserve space for the interface you will publish into. A clean vertical canvas can lose its caption or product detail under platform buttons and description panels. Inspect the current destination preview instead of assuming that one permanent safe-area diagram works everywhere.

01 / WHERE SHOULD PRODUCT-VIDEO TEXT GO WHEN PLATFORM CONTROLS COVER THE FRAME?

Observe the actual placement

For an illustrative vertical bag clip, the buckle may sit near the right edge where a platform displays action controls. Review the clip inside the intended placement, including its expanded caption state. A source-player screenshot does not show those overlays.

Check the interface on the device and account used for publishing. Layouts can change, and organic posts and advertisements may have different controls. Do not present a guessed pixel margin as a verified platform specification.

Build a preview overlay from the actual destination when you are authorized to use it. Keep it as a review aid, not artwork baked into the published video.

03 / WHERE SHOULD PRODUCT-VIDEO TEXT GO WHEN PLATFORM CONTROLS COVER THE FRAME?

Repair the layout deliberately

Reposition external text first when the source product remains usable. If the merchandise itself is hidden, consider reframing with enough surrounding image or generating another approved first frame. Cropping cannot restore a missing detail that was never in the source.

04 / WHERE SHOULD PRODUCT-VIDEO TEXT GO WHEN PLATFORM CONTROLS COVER THE FRAME?

Verify the final upload preview

Inspect the exact edited file after upload and confirm that all essential elements survive. Keep a note identifying the tested placement and date. Use reframing for aspect changes and title-space planning for the source brief.

05 / WHERE SHOULD PRODUCT-VIDEO TEXT GO WHEN PLATFORM CONTROLS COVER THE FRAME?

Check the same buckle in three interface states

Fictional bag clip: the buckle is visible on the clean canvas but lies behind a right-side action column in the destination. Moving the subtitle cannot reveal a hidden buckle. No destination account, ad placement or phone was opened for this exercise.

Use a crop only if the source contains enough complete merchandise and required framing. Otherwise change the source composition; do not reconstruct an unseen buckle as fact. Keep the review overlay outside the exported artwork. MDN describes native video behavior, not current social-platform margins; the actual destination provides those constraints. Preserve any unresolved view as pending instead of calling a clean editor canvas approved.

Can I fix every hidden detail by moving subtitles?

The product itself may need reframing or a new source.

Does this supply verified platform pixel margins?
