Product videos / SCENARIO GUIDE
One continuous product shot or an edited ad: which should you plan?
Use the separate single-shot preview when one continuous source and movement serve the idea. Use CartVisual’s complete TVC workflow for its planned multi-shot production and edit. Choose from the actual inputs, quote and deliverable, then review every retained shot and transition; automatic assembly does not establish product accuracy or a genuine testimonial.
Choose from the story you actually need
A bottle can be recognized, receive one gentle camera move and settle in one continuous shot. A story with separate product details or locations needs several images and joins. Decide whether those joins help the buyer understand the item before choosing a route.
Keep any real experience claim separate. A generated kitchen scene can provide context; it does not establish that a customer tested the bottle. Use suitable genuine material when that experience is the point of the story.
Separate preview and complete production
| Requested job | Route to consider | Review before accepting |
|---|---|---|
| One continuous product move | Optional single-shot preview | The source, full clip and actual model output |
| Planned sequence of product views | Complete TVC | The plan, selected grid, every generated shot and final joins |
| Exact titles or licensed soundtrack | Appropriate finishing workflow | Approved wording, timing, rights and full export |
| Recorded testimonial or measured result | Genuine source and evidence workflow | Actual contribution, context and supported claim |
The current complete TVC offers 9, 16 or 25 storyboard shots. It creates native clips and edits them to the chosen final duration. A five-second preview is a different deliverable from a complete film made from many native clips. Check the actual stage and quote rather than treating all video buttons as the same request.
Approve the plan and source frames
- Provide the product reference, verified facts and intended story in Product videos.
- Review and confirm the plan before creating storyboard grids.
- Select and inspect the actual grid, checking every product depiction.
- Confirm the model and stage quote, review the first-shot preview, then approve remaining production when appropriate.
For a separate single-shot preview, review its own source and treatment instead. Do not assume a selected character sheet reached that request; identity-led complete plans and an original-scene preview have different source paths. Source approval must match the route actually submitted.
Keep native footage and the final edit distinct
The complete TVC generates five-second native clips before trimming and assembly. Current 9, 16 and 25-shot plans correspond to 45, 80 and 125 native seconds before trimming, respectively. Those totals are not the final film length or an amount already charged. Inspect the actual quote and task record.
Raw model output may contain audio and has its selected model’s native specification. The complete edit removes audio and delivers its final edit specification. Review the actual file before adding captions, music or voiceover externally. A new text overlay alone does not automatically require regenerating all approved footage.
Review the joins as well as the shots
Adobe distinguishes individual source playback from an assembled sequence. Use that distinction to review both the supplied clips and the finished story; the editor view itself does not validate product facts.
Fictional bottle plan B9 keeps one cap and label edition throughout. If shot three invents a second seal, hold that shot. If every shot is accurate but a join suggests an unsupported opening sequence, revise the edit or evidence. Automatic assembly cannot make that implied mechanism true. B9 was not generated or tested.
Use state-continuity review for cross-shot relationships and the input map to track where facts and pictures came from. Keep the exact approved source and final export identified so later reuse does not inherit approval blindly.
Sources and further reading
Recorded source-review dates are listed individually below. An undated source does not inherit the article’s publication date. Software and platform rules can change; check the current original before acting.

Frequently asked questions
Are opening, middle and ending always separate generated scenes?
No. They can be phases of one shot. A complete TVC plan has its own selected shot structure; inspect the actual route and storyboard.
Can CartVisual generate and assemble a multi-shot TVC?
The complete TVC workflow does that through plan, storyboard, first-shot review and remaining production stages. The optional single-shot preview remains separate.
Does a complete generated film remove the need for finishing review?
No. Review product accuracy, transitions, exact copy, sound and the destination’s final presentation.
