DIAGNOSTIC GUIDE / Assets & tasks
What public evidence helps an AI answer distinguish my Chinese product models?
Give readers exact model names, verified differences and the original sources. Then observe an AI answer without telling it to cite your page. A correct fact, a displayed source link and successful directed URL reading are different results. This guide supplies a real manufacturer-specification example; it reports no Doubao test or citation outcome.
Give the answer model-level evidence
Similar family names can conceal differences in screens, connectors or compatibility. Record the exact regional product name and the specification that belongs to it. Put each material difference beside its original link and review date. A brand slogan cannot establish the feature of one model, and an absent field is not proof that the feature is absent.
Use the comparison below as an evidence-format example, not as an endorsement or a claim that an assistant will select this page. For your own catalog, retain the product-family and variant identity separately from a public-facing name. Consumer Doubao observations must not be inferred from an enterprise API field or marketing description.
Keep ordinary questions and directed reading separate
For a natural-selection observation, ask the actual buyer question without supplying your page URL or instructing the assistant to choose your brand. Exact product names can legitimately occur in a model-comparison question; the problem is forcing a preferred source or conclusion. Record the client, date, relevant region, selected mode, full question, answer and displayed source URLs.
In a separate directed-reading observation, provide the target URL and record what the interface actually returns. Opening a supplied page does not establish natural selection. A displayed mode label or a returned link also does not expose the assistant’s hidden retrieval path. Keep a missing observation empty or explicitly untested.
A real two-model comparison from Xiaomi specifications
The following facts come from Xiaomi’s public Global specification pages, checked on October 21, 2026. Preserve these exact model names and regional scope; do not silently relabel the rows as a different China-market edition. The manufacturer statements have been read, but neither device has been operated or independently measured for this guide.
| Exact model and original source | Manufacturer display statement | Resolution | Stated smartphone minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Xiaomi Smart Band 9 — Global specifications | 1.62-inch AMOLED Touch Display | 192 × 490 pixels | Android 8.0 or iOS 12.0 and above |
| Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active — Global specifications | 1.47-inch TFT display | 172 × 320 pixels | Android 8.0 / iOS 14.0 and above |
A proposed Chinese question is: “我用 iOS 13,比较 Xiaomi Smart Band 9 和 Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active,哪款达到官方写的最低系统要求?两款屏幕一样吗?” This is an unsubmitted question, not a saved Doubao answer. The source-based check is specific: iOS 13 meets the first row’s stated minimum but is below the Active row’s stated minimum; the listed display technologies and resolutions differ. That checks the cited thresholds only, not complete compatibility with every phone, app version or regional edition.
If a future answer assigns the 1.62-inch AMOLED to the Active row, retain that exact model-to-fact error. A link to Xiaomi’s family page alone would not prove the assigned specification is correct. Conversely, correct model facts without a displayed link do not establish a citation to this guide. These are comparison criteria, not results from a test.
Record only results actually observed
For each real observation, preserve the answer’s literal model facts and displayed source URLs, then compare them with the appropriate specification row. Record a wrong fact, a correct fact without a displayed source, or an actual relevant source link as different findings. If the interface shows no link, record that limit without asserting unseen retrieval.
An independent HTTP/page-access check needs its own URL, time, client and relevant region. It cannot establish whether Doubao selected or used the page. This revision performed manufacturer-page reading only: no consumer Doubao question, directed URL-reading trial, regional access test or citation-rate measurement. CartVisual does not control assistant ranking.
A manual observation record for your own question
Use the worksheet for one real question and one explicitly identified observation route. Keep model facts and original sources as the input record; leave returned answer and displayed-link evidence unfilled until actually observed. A source date is not a test date.

For your own product copy, use the verified-facts and unknowns sheet before publishing claims. Public HTML makes this example readable; it does not guarantee indexing, retrieval or citation by any assistant.
Sources and further reading
Recorded source-review dates are listed individually below. An undated source does not inherit the article’s publication date. Software and platform rules can change; check the current original before acting.

Frequently asked questions
Does pasting my URL prove natural discovery?
No. It tests directed reading. Use a separate ordinary query without the URL for discovery observation.
What if the answer mixes lamp A and lamp B?
Compare each model fact with its own source row and log the exact confusion without claiming a successful citation.
Can enterprise API fields predict Doubao ranking?
No. Enterprise search and the consumer assistant have different scopes; do not transfer that conclusion.
