Marketplace, market and copy language: what each setting changes
Use Target platform for the intended channel and Copy language for approved new wording. Interface language changes workspace controls. The current output settings do not display a separate Market selector: describe relevant audience facts in the brief. Existing generated images do not change when settings change.
Separate four different decisions
| Decision | Current place to set it | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Channel | Target platform in Output settings | Presentation guidance, not platform approval |
| New wording language | Copy language in Product images and A+ content | Does not translate original printed packaging |
| Audience and regional context | Verified facts and requirements in the brief | No separate current Market dropdown; do not invent local prices or claims |
| Workspace controls | Interface language | Does not rewrite an existing generated image |
Older saved configurations and the internal request can contain a market value. That is not a current UI instruction to select a region. For an English campaign aimed at German buyers, choose English as Copy language and describe the intended audience and verified units in the brief. Use German copy only when that is the intended output.
Make the expected change visible in the brief
A Shopify lifestyle image for a ceramic mug can place the item in a restrained kitchen scene. A social creative might need a strong focal point and space for approved copy. An identification view should prioritize the actual item. These are creative directions, not evidence of higher conversion or automatic compliance.
Check Target platform, Copy language and ratio before generating. Add concrete audience facts in Product facts & requirements: actual units, approved spelling, intended use and verified offer. Put exact permitted new wording in Approved image copy (optional). Leaving that copy field blank means no added wording. Original printed packaging must retain its original language and appearance.
Compare one setting at a time
- Keep the product references, ratio, verified brief and approved copy fixed.
- Choose the first Target platform and generate one reviewable test.
- Change only Target platform for a second request; compare hierarchy, context and information density.
- If needed, test Copy language separately with approved wording in that language.
Generation varies. This is a creative comparison, not a controlled system or conversion study. Record the actual settings and judge whether the output answers your campaign question.
Review localized content before publishing
Inspect names, numbers, units and punctuation at the final display size. Compare every new phrase with the approved copy. Keep existing packaging text unchanged rather than requesting a translation of the label. If a precise price or legal line is essential, verify it in an editing workflow before publication.
Virtual try-on has a different contract: its current settings omit Copy language, and the generation prompt forbids newly added text while preserving original garment printing. Do not apply A+ copy instructions to garment scenes. No setting replaces a factual product review or supplies missing certification evidence.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I choose a separate market or region?
The current output settings have no separate Market selector. Describe verified audience and regional requirements in the brief. An older saved market value does not create a visible region control or update an existing image.
Can I use an English interface with Spanish output?
Yes, in workflows that support new copy, such as Product images or A+ content. Choose Spanish as Copy language and supply approved Spanish wording. Existing packaging text stays in its original language; Virtual try-on does not add new copy.
Does selecting Amazon guarantee approval?
No. It provides creative guidance. You must check the current requirements for the relevant listing placement and review the final asset.
