Image remix / DEEP-DIVE GUIDE
How do you fit translated ad copy around an AI remix?
Approve the translated message first, then build the image and final typography as separate tasks. Use Image remix for a product-led visual with quiet space for copy. Add the exact wording in an external editable layout, where you can adjust line breaks without distorting the product or dropping an offer condition.
Settle meaning before fitting the words
Keep the approved target-language string outside the image. Separate product name, feature, condition and call to action. Have a fluent reviewer resolve the wording before layout. Shortening “Removable divider for smaller accessories” to “Fits everything” is not just a space-saving edit: it removes a specific feature and adds an unsupported promise.
If no accurate short version exists, give the message more space, omit a less important message or choose another placement. Do not silently delete a condition. The packaging-versus-marketing language review also keeps printed product text separate from new advertising copy.
Keep the current remix text boundary clear
The current new Image remix form offers Copy language and requirements, but it does not expose a separate exact-copy input. In the default request with no approved new copy, the image is instructed to leave new lettering out. Choosing a language, or typing a translation into the general requirements, does not by itself establish an approved text list.
This describes the current default route, not every historical saved draft. Do not assume an older draft has the same effective values or that an instruction guarantees a text-free result. For this workflow, keep the exact translation in your external layout document and request the visual without added headlines, offers or badges. Inspect the exported image for unintended lettering.
Existing text printed on the real package remains product evidence. Do not erase, translate or invent that label to make room for the advertisement. The packaging text check covers that separate review.
Request space for the message, not generated typography
Upload an authorized composition reference and the exact replacement-product photographs. Choose the intended aspect ratio and use Style inspiration when the reference’s geometry needs substantial rearrangement. Describe the product position and a quiet area for later copy; do not ask for an exact translated headline to be painted into that area.
For an illustrative divider-container ad, the square reference puts the container beside three short words. The approved translation needs two longer lines. A useful visual brief can place the source-supported container below an uncluttered upper area, preserving its shape and label. It does not need the source advertisement’s words, price badge or another product to fill the space.
Review the actual quote and selected image before generating. Reject changed product geometry or invented copy in the downloaded candidate. A quiet-area request is a direction to review, not a guaranteed mask. Use the square-to-portrait composition review when the destination changes shape.
Fit exact copy in an editable external layout
Place the reviewed visual in your chosen design editor. Paste the approved text as editable type, keep the original string available and adjust the text area and line breaks. Keep the sale item’s proportions intact. If the editor cannot support the script, accent or font, resolve that limitation before exporting.
| Observed problem | Next action | Reject |
|---|---|---|
| Two-line headline overlaps the container | Reposition the text area or approved visual | Squeezing the container narrower |
| A condition is pushed out of view | Reserve readable space or obtain an approved shorter message | Deleting the condition without review |
| A product name is too long | Give the name a separate readable line | Stretching letters or inventing an abbreviation |
| The reference has a price badge but this offer has none | Omit the badge from the new layout | Inventing a discount to fill it |
Fictional handoff example, not a completed translation test: a reviewer approves a two-line feature statement and a separate offer condition. The editor fits both without shortening the product name. If the condition still cannot be read in the intended placement, hold that export and choose a simpler approved message or a different layout.
Approve the actual text and image together
Compare the final exported wording with the approved string character by character, then read it at the intended placement size. Check accents, punctuation, digits, units, line order and the offer against the landing page. A readable headline does not excuse a wrong product or a missing condition.
Record the visual filename, approved translation version, editable-layout version and final export. For a second ratio, reuse the approved meaning and review the new line breaks; do not translate again from memory. This is an external typesetting and publication workflow, not a promise that Image remix produces exact translated lettering. The placement preflight checks the final destination separately.

Recorded source-review dates are listed individually below. An undated source does not inherit the article’s publication date. Software and platform rules can change; check the current original before acting.
Frequently asked questions
Does Copy language make my exact translation appear in the remix?
No. A language choice is not an approved text list. The current default remix route has no separate exact-copy input and requests no new lettering when no approved new copy is present. Finish exact text in an external editable layout.
Does that mean every old saved remix request has no new copy?
No. Historical draft values can differ. Do not generalize the current default to every saved request, and inspect the actual exported result.
What should I generate in CartVisual for this workflow?
Create and review the product-led visual, requesting quiet space and no added headline or offer. Check real printed packaging separately, then place the approved advertising text externally.
What if the approved wording still does not fit?
Change the layout or obtain an accurate shorter version from the reviewer. Do not distort the product, silently alter the name or drop an offer condition.
