Monthly membership vs credits: what does each one let you do?
Ask two questions before buying: can this account use the feature, and does it have enough usable credits for the quote? Extra credits increase the balance; they do not upgrade feature access, image quality or task limits. Check the actual account and quote before choosing what to buy.
Use two account examples to find the blocker
The following accounts and balances are fictional. In both cases, the user wants a packaging image with an example quote of 10 credits. That quote is a teaching value, not a live offer.

Account A has more credits, yet cannot use that feature under these stated conditions. Account B can use it, but cannot fund this request. Do not prescribe the same purchase for both. A cancelled renewal whose paid-through date is still in the future is a different state from A.
Check the feature and image quality first
Open the signed-in account’s access information. Check the feature you need and the selected image quality. Current memberships distinguish supported qualities and include product video, Logo studio and packaging access. Earlier purchased credits can also carry legacy feature access while they remain available; A explicitly has none.
The current plan comparison shows the present terms. A plan can permit a quality while the image service is not enabled for it. More credits cannot enable an unavailable setting. Changing a new request to 4K also does not add verified detail to an older image.
Compare usable credits with the current quote
For B, read the quote for the exact operation before confirming it. Check the current usable balance, not an old receipt or another account’s number. An extra pack is for eligible current members and adds credits under its terms. It does not change the plan’s feature or parallel-task rights.
Use the campaign credit plan to list the work still needed. Text planning, image generation and video generation are separate stages. A completed result can also need another quality review; a member badge does not make every output publishable.
Check payment confirmation without buying twice
Choosing a plan, opening checkout and receiving paid access are different events. The public plan page says credits are issued after confirmed payment. Return to the same account and check its payment and membership state.
If a payment appears complete but the expected credits are absent, use the paid-credit troubleshooting steps. Report the relevant order and account state without payment secrets. Do not make a second purchase simply to force a refresh.
Match each remaining problem to its own fix
If A activates suitable access, check the current quote and balance again before generating. If B obtains enough usable credits, it still needs a supported quality and an available task slot. A running-task limit calls for waiting or a different scheduling decision, not another credit pack.
After generation, inspect the actual product, text and intended use. Access lets the account request work; credits fund that request. Neither proves that a generated package is accurate or ready to manufacture.

Can an account have credits but lack packaging access?
Yes. For example, a paid period may have ended while add-on credits remain usable. Check active or legacy rights separately; balance alone does not establish access.
Does cancelling renewal remove access immediately?
Current paid access lasts until its paid-through date. Cancellation and the end of that date are different events.
Will extra credits unlock 4K or add more task slots?
No. Those permissions follow the account’s access and current service availability, not the size of an extra pack.
