Assets & tasks / SCENARIO GUIDE
A pre-publication checklist for product creative across channels
Review the exact destination version, not just the full-size original. A correct asset can become misleading after cropping, caption changes or attachment to the wrong offer. Use one release record that connects product, file, placement and approval.
Establish a release record
For an illustrative mug launch, list the actual blue variant, the product page, a square store image and a vertical campaign clip. Record the approved file for each placement and who checked the product facts. Keep a status such as draft, approved or published in your own review document.
Do not use a thumbnail from generation history as proof that the final upload is correct. Download the eligible completed asset, inspect it, and identify the destination-specific version. A workspace result and a live storefront file can diverge through editing or upload compression.
Check four independent layers
| Layer | Review question | Example failure |
|---|---|---|
| Merchandise | Is it the actual variant and included quantity? | Three units shown for a single-unit offer |
| Message | Are wording, price and conditions current? | Old offer survives on a new campaign |
| Presentation | Does the destination crop preserve the product? | Label or caption hidden by interface controls |
| Delivery | Does the link open the correct destination? | Ad points to a different SKU |
Keep the offer review separate from visual attractiveness. A beautiful file can still carry expired copy or link to a product with a different configuration.
Run the checklist at the destination
- Inspect the full downloaded asset for product and text accuracy.
- Review the actual store or advertising preview at desktop and phone sizes.
- Check aspect-ratio handling, interface overlays and the complete video when relevant.
- Verify the final destination link and record the approved version before publishing.
TikTok’s creative guidance highlights safe-zone handling, but its interface is not a universal template for every channel. Use the current preview of the exact placement. CartVisual does not automatically reproduce or certify each storefront’s or advertising system’s display behavior.
Keep evidence for later changes
Retain the source result, edited file and destination mapping. If you change the offer, update the relevant overlay or page text and repeat the affected checks. If you change the product variant, review the image itself rather than only replacing its filename.
After publication, inspect the live page and file once to confirm the expected crop and message. Use destination analytics for campaign outcomes. CartVisual’s generation success is evidence of an available creative result, not evidence that the file has been published correctly or achieved sales.
