Product videos / PRACTICAL ANSWER
What still needs finishing after CartVisual assembles my TVC?
The current assembly delivers a silent film. Plan sound, readable campaign text and final publishing approval as separate finishing work.
Inventory the actual delivered material
In this fictional exercise, a skincare seller chose nine shots and downloads an assembled fifteen-second film with its nine source clips. Current plans can instead use 16 or 25 shots; inventory the actual selected count. The moving images are complete, but the campaign still needs an approved product name, voiceover and licensed music. Calling the download a finished broadcast advertisement would conceal those missing deliverables. List what exists before briefing an editor.
Check the actual film duration, frame size and revision. Separate reviewed footage from draft scripts that were never approved. A soundtrack imagined in a planning table is a production instruction, not an audio track already present in the film.
The current assembly path explicitly removes audio and assembles a video-only sequence. It normalizes output to 30 fps and the selected aspect-ratio target; these implementation facts do not replace checking the downloaded file. It does not automatically add narration, music or campaign captions. A note in the plan is not a delivered soundtrack or subtitle file.
Give each finishing task an owner
| Task | Owner in the exercise | Approval evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Narration | Seller and voice producer | Approved factual script and pronunciation |
| Music | Editor | Permission for intended destinations |
| Captions | Editor and reviewer | Readable timing and spelling |
| Product accuracy | Seller | Comparison with real merchandise |
| Export | Editor | Destination-specific file review |
These tasks occur outside the current CartVisual silent assembly. Do not assume a music suggestion in a prompt grants a license or that an external editor has permission to use any supplied reference audio.
| Handoff item | Record the actual value | Why the editor needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Footage identity | Film/task ID, revision and supplied source clips | Avoid finishing a rejected or superseded cut |
| Timeline | Actual duration, fps, aspect ratio and dimensions | Place text and sound on the correct cut |
| Campaign wording | Approved product name, variant and factual claims | Avoid turning an illustration into unsupported proof |
| External finishing return | New filename/revision and destination | Review the file that will actually be published |
See resolution labels and delivered dimensions before describing the export. This table is a handoff record, not an integrated editor or automatic rights-clearance feature.
Review the combined message
Play the completed version with and without sound. Narration must not claim a measured result that the generated footage only illustrates. For skincare, a visually clean bottle does not prove a clinical benefit. Check that captions refer to the shown variant and that the ending still leaves the product recognizable after the editor adds text.
Record the footage revision and finishing revision together. If a later retake replaces one shot, the editor needs the new source and a reason to recheck synchronized sound, text and transitions.
After a single-shot retake, identify whether the assembled revision changed. Supply the newly accepted revision to the editor and recheck caption timing and narration against the actual cut. Do not assume a previous finished export updates itself.
Approve the publishing file
Download the final externally finished file and inspect it at the destination display size. Keep the silent assembly as a source asset rather than overwriting it with the only finished copy. This article defines a finishing contract; it does not claim CartVisual already generates narration or clears commercial music rights.
